Connecting siblings with resources for their lifelong journey

Welcome to WisconSibs!

When a child is diagnosed with a disability or long-term health care need, the whole family is changed and needs support.  That includes the sisters and brothers.

When an adult with a disability outlives his or her parents, who’s left to step up?  Most often, their sisters and brothers

While often overlooked, siblings – the brothers and sisters – play a critical, life-long role for a person with special needs.

And who can help siblings connect with each other and with resources to help them celebrate the joys and share the challenges of having a brother or sister with a disability?

Welcome to WisconSibs!

So . . . Who Are You?

For the past 18 years, we’ve been serving Wisconsin sisters and brothers (first as the Fox Valley Sibling Support Network and now, as WisconSibs, Inc.) and beyond. We support siblings of all ages in their lifelong journey through peer support programs, education and networking opportunities, social activities, leadership development, and more.
