When you purchase any equipment, data cards or handsets from Element Mobile, you have a full 30 days to return the device to the Element Mobile location you purchased it from and get your money back. All we ask is that the device or equipment be returned with the original packaging and contents (including the UPC) and examined by an Element Mobile employee. If you meet our basic requirements, your money will be gladly returned. Fees may apply. See store for complete details.

Existing customers who refer new customers to Element Mobile are eligible to receive a $30 credit for each new line of service activated, up to $90 per month! That $90 could be from one friend opening a new account with three new lines, or three friends, each opening one line per account.

A new customer must open a new post-paid account with Element Mobile, and all lines must be activated on the same day in order for the referrer to receive credit for more than one line on an account. Your total household income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
How much can I save on my phone bill?
You will save up to $9.25. Qualified residents of Tribal Lands may save as much as $25.00 per month. These benefits apply to your monthly access charge. All Lifeline customers are responsible for the payment of all applicable taxes, surcharges and fees.
Are there any restrictions?
Lifeline can only be used for the main telephone line in a household. The name on your phone bill must match the name of the participant who is eligible for the program.
How do I apply?
To apply for Lifeline call 800-236-1461800-236-1461 to request an application, or click here to download an application. You will need to provide a photocopy of a state issued driver’s license or within 48 hours after receipt of the following: (i) completed subscriber agreement, (ii) completed application and (iii) proof of eligibility. Other contract terms may apply.
What proof of eligibility do I need to provide?

For income-based eligibility, you will need to submit documentation verifying total household income. Your Lifeline benefits will take effect when proof of eligibility is received.
How long will I continue to receive Lifeline benefits?
Your Lifeline service will be discontinued when you no longer meet eligibility requirements. There are other options that can help you save money, including free toll blocking (with a waived deposit) and a voluntary limit on long distance calling (toll control). Link Up helps households pay the installation charge for telephone service. This program pays some of the one-time cost of either installing local service in your home or activating wireless phone service. Link Up does not cover the cost of wiring inside your home or offset the cost of purchasing a wireless phone.
How much will I save by using Link Up?
Link Up will pay 50% of the first $60 of charges for the activation of telephone service up to $30. Qualified residents of Tribal Lands may receive an additional discount of up to $70 to cover 100% of the charges between $60 and $130.

To apply for Link Up you will follow the same application process as Lifeline and provide the same proof of eligibility as Lifeline. Being a Lifeline or Link Up customer does not protect you from being disconnected if you fail to pay your telephone bill.
  • *Lifeline and Link Up discounts cannot be applied to an outstanding balance owed to your phone company.
  • *Lifeline can only be applied to one wireless OR wireline telephone per household.

Text Telephone (TTY) Information and Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS)

You can use a speed dial to contact a TRS operator from your cellular phone by dialing 711. You will be connected to a TRS operator who will assist you with your call. The TRS operator will be in the state that you are calling from. Long distance charges may appear on your Element Mobile bill for connecting to the TRS center by dialing 711, depending on how the state TRS center is set up. Your Element Mobile bill will reflect 711 as the number called with "TRS call" appearing next to it, as well as all appropriate air time charges.
